Lisa Ortiz is an experienced professional who has worked in various roles within the workforce development sector. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in HR, Lisa has served as an Employment Services Coordinator at HVAF, managing a team of employment specialists and assisting clients with job readiness. Prior to this, Lisa worked as a Retention Specialist at Eckerd Connects and ResCare Workforce Services, where Lisa evaluated resumes and developed strategies to manage barriers to employment. With a background in marketing and HR, Lisa has a strong track record of supporting clients in their job search and career development.
HVAF - Helping Veterans And Families
At HVAF (Helping Veterans And Families) we provide transitional housing and permanent housing to homeless veterans as well as case management, food and clothing, and other essential needs. HVAF’s mission is to eliminate homelessness among veterans and families through education, prevention, supportive services and advocacy. Through partnership with the United Way of Central Indiana, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and community organizations, we are working to end homelessness, one veteran at a time.
