At HVAF (Helping Veterans And Families) we provide transitional housing and permanent housing to homeless veterans as well as case management, food and clothing, and other essential needs. HVAF’s mission is to eliminate homelessness among veterans and families through education, prevention, supportive services and advocacy. Through partnership with the United Way of Central Indiana, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and community organizations, we are working to end homelessness, one veteran at a time.

The Employment and Workforce Development team at HVAF helps veterans transition to stable employment by providing personalized job search assistance, career counseling, and skills development. They facilitate connections with potential employers, offer training and educational resources, and support veterans in overcoming employment barriers to achieve long-term career success.
