Micah Vernon

Micah Vernon serves as Vice President and Director of Legal & Business Development at HVE Healthcare Assessments since October 2017 and also holds the position of Principal at Owl Capital Investments since May 2016. Prior to these roles, Micah was Director at PowerHub from October 2013 to May 2016 and at LCAB (Local Content Assurance Bureau) from June 2013 to May 2016. Previous legal experience includes working as a Corporate Associate in Energy, Infrastructure and Construction at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from June 2011 to June 2013 and completing articles and summer student work at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP between May 2009 and June 2010. Earlier work experience includes a position as a Ski Instructor at Whistler Blackcomb in 1999-2000. Micah's educational background includes a Juris Doctorate from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, and degrees in International Relations from Örebro University and International Development from Huron University.
