Ana Ferrico

Research Assistant - Development at hVIVO

Ana Ferrico has work experience as a Research Assistant - Development at hVIVO starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust as an Associate Practitioner - Microbiology from November 2020 to May 2023. In this role, they performed molecular tests for various viruses and bacteria, and they had experience using different molecular diagnostic platforms such as VitaPCR, Samba II, NeuMoDX 288, BD Viper, and LIAISON MDX.

Ana Ferrico pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic and Criminal Sciences from Egas Moniz School of Health & Science, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Ana then went on to Sheffield Hallam University, where they completed their MSc in Molecular Microbiology from 2019 to 2020.
