Ana Sofia Zhao

Ana Sofia Zhao has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical science and laboratory management. Ana Sofia is currently serving as a Laboratory Team Leader at hVIVO since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Biomedical Scientist and Team Leader at Eurofins from September 2020 to March 2021. Ana Sofia has also held positions as a Biomedical Scientist at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from November 2017 to September 2020, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust from April 2017 to November 2017, St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from January 2017 to March 2017, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust from August 2016 to January 2017, and Hospital Garcia de Orta, EPE from May 2016 to August 2016. Ana started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Biobanco-IMM from August 2012 to May 2016.

Ana Sofia Zhao earned a Licentiate degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from Escola Superior de Saúde Egas Moniz, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Ana Sofia later pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the same institution, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
