Laboratory Technician at hVIVO

Josephine Haggar Betto began their work experience in 2021 as a Student Ambassador at thefutureworks Recruitment, a position they held until 2022. In 2023, they joined hVIVO as a Laboratory Technician and continues to work in that role.

Josephine Haggar Betto completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biological and Forensic Sciences from Coventry University, spanning from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Foundation degree in Applied Biosciences from CU Coventry, which they completed from 2018 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Josephine also holds several certifications. In 2023, they acquired a certification in Forensic specialists, mass disaster investigation, and victim identification from the Royal Society of Medicine. Josephine obtained the Carbon Literate certification from The Carbon Literacy Project in July 2021, along with certifications in Global Awareness, Leadership Skills, and Workplace Ready from Badgr (now part of Instructure) in the same month and year. Furthermore, Josephine obtained certifications as an Advanced Open Water Diver and an Open Water Diver from PADI in August 2018 and July 2018, respectively. Lastly, they achieved the Silver Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in June 2016 and the Bronze Award in September 2015.
