Saniye Çelik

Saniye Çelik is a distinguished academic and leader in public administration, currently serving as a Hoogleraar at Universiteit Leiden since November 2017. Saniye leads initiatives focused on inclusive leadership for public officials through the Centre for Professional Learning (CPL) and holds several significant positions, including Chair of the Independent Integrity Commission of the Rijk and Expert Member of the Regiegroep Sociale Veiligheid in het Hoger Onderwijs en Wetenschap. Saniye is also a Crown Member of the Sociaal-Economische Raad (SER) and serves on the supervisory boards of Montessori Scholengemeenschap Amsterdam and HVO-Querido. Saniye's prior roles include Professor of Diversity at Hogeschool Leiden and various senior positions at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK). Saniye possesses advanced academic credentials, including a Ph.D. from Leiden University and degrees from the University of Groningen, Tilburg University, and Avans University of Applied Sciences.
