Max Gao

Max Gao is a Special Counsel at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, a position held since July 2022, following a tenure as Senior Associate. Prior experience includes roles at Australian Government Solicitor from August 2017 to July 2022, where Max held positions including Senior Lawyer and A/g Senior Lawyer. Max also served as a Deputy Associate at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia from January 2016 to August 2017 and completed a Winter Internship at Clifford Chance LLP in January 2015, focusing on legal research and document drafting. An internship at The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in early 2013 involved legal research and client relations.
