Brian Troutman is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in human spaceflight systems and technologies. Currently serving as the Human Landing System Crew Compartment Lunar Dust Mitigation Discipline Lead at Jacobs Engineering and Construction, LLC, Brian oversees all aspects of lunar dust mitigation for Artemis missions. Previous roles at Jacobs include Senior Systems Engineer for the Exploration EMU (xEMU) spacesuit and systems engineer for the Lunar Deep Space Gateway. Brian's career also includes significant contributions at Lockheed Martin as a certified principal engineer for the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle and various engineering roles at GE, Rolls-Royce, and other companies focusing on environmental control, life support systems, and mechanical design. Brian holds a Master of Science in Nanoscale Physics from Rice University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
