Michael Farrell

Michael Farrell is a seasoned professional in systems engineering, currently serving as a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert at HX5, LLC since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions at the United States Department of the Air Force from 2010 to August 2022, including Branch Lead Engineer and JDAM Development Lead Engineer. Michael's early career included significant roles within the United States Air Force from 2005 to 2010 as the F-35 Site Activation Team Lead and Squadron Commander for Range Instrumentation Systems. Michael's educational background includes a Master of Science in Military Operations from the Air Force Air Command and Staff College, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Louisiana State University, and a Master of Science in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
