Rubén Colomina

Rubén Colomina has been working in the IT industry since 2005. Rubén began their career as a Financial Advisor at Kiron Partner S.p.A. in 2005. In 2007, they moved to Tecnocom as a Junior Software Developer. In 2008, they joined Indra as a Secondary Surveillance Radar Software Engineer. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Telespazio VEGA UK as a Multidisciplinar Position in Data Integration, Engineering and Data Science, Software Engineer on Earth CARE (ESA) Satellite Calibration Algorithms, and Galileo AIVP Platform Software Engineer. From 2017 to 2021, they were also Self Employed as a Data Driven Software Engineer | Consultant on Crypto-Assets. In 2021, they took up a Senior Research Engineer position at Virtuoso. Rubén is currently working as a Backend & BlockChain Engineer at Hxro since 2022.

Rubén Colomina has a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics from the Universidad de Zaragoza from 1997 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Using Databases with Python from Coursera in May 2017, Using Python to Access Web Data from Coursera in April 2017, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera in December 2014, Machine Learning from Coursera in September 2014, and Artificial Intelligence for Robotics from Udacity in February 2012.
