Michael Seelen

Michael Seelen has over 17 years of work experience in various roles related to risk, data, analytics, and business solutions. Michael is currently the Director of Risk, Data & Analytics at Hy Cite Enterprises, LLC since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor for Data & Analytics at Northeastern University from May 2019 to October 2019. Before that, they held multiple roles at CUNA Mutual Group, including Business Solutions Consultant from August 2018 to July 2019, Data Mining Analyst from January 2011 to July 2018, and B2B Marketing Quant Analyst from July 2008 to December 2010. Michael also has experience at Madison National Life Insurance Co. as an Actuarial analyst from September 2006 to July 2008 and as a Credit Insurance Underwriter from August 2005 to September 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Performance Analyst at Bank of America from October 2002 to September 2004.

Michael Seelen completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from Hanken School of Economics, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Wisconsin School of Business from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Investment, and Banking.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Seelen also obtained a certification in "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI" from edX in December 2018.
