Henning Daut has a diverse work experience in various industries. Henning is currently serving as the Vice President and Practice Lead for Web3 & Metaverse at hy – the Axel Springer Consulting Group since October 2022. In their previous role with the same company, they were the Vice President and Practice Lead for Venture Capital & Modern Finance from July 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Principal at the same company from October 2020 to June 2021.
In addition to their current role, Henning is also a Member and Mentor at Crypto Packaged Goods, a community for founders, funders, and operators, since September 2022. Henning has been a Mentor and Partner to scale at APX since December 2020.
Henning has extensive experience in mentoring and speaking at the Startup Academy program of Deutsche Sporthilfe, a foundation supporting top athletes. Henning held this role from November 2018 onwards.
Henning has also worked as a Venture Capitalist at Einstein Industries Ventures, a Pan-European venture capital firm focused on the New Space ecosystem, from July 2021 to July 2023.
Prior to these roles, Henning served as the Managing Director of Futury, a daughter company of Germany's "Werte-Stiftung," where they initiated and executed the renowned ecosystem for sustainable open-innovation and venturing called "The Mission." Henning also established the Futury Venture Capital Funds during their tenure from March 2018 to October 2020.
Henning's work experience includes being a Mentor at Startupbootcamp, a global network of industry-focused accelerators, from November 2017 to October 2020.
Henning has also served as an Investor and Board Observer for CLEW, a healthcare company focusing on big data and real-time analytics, from January 2017 to February 2018.
Additionally, Henning has been an Investor and Board Observer for Telesofia Medical, a healthcare platform providing personalized educational videos for patients, from December 2016 to February 2018.
Lastly, they have worked as an Investor and Board Observer at Inovytec Medical Solutions Ltd., a company specializing in cutting-edge technologies for medical emergencies, from September 2016 to February 2018.
Henning Daut has a background in management and business law from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. Henning also has knowledge in finance and entrepreneurship from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
