Chris Downing

Chris Downing is a seasoned professional with experience in both the food industry and music education. Currently serving as a Meat Cutter at Hy-Vee, Inc. since March 2008, Chris has also established a career as a Private Drum/Percussion Instructor since March 2016, supplementing this role with a brief tenure at Jefferson City Music Academy as a Drum and Percussion Instructor. Previous experience includes working as a Booking/Press/Promotion Agent for Heroes and Hypocrites LLC from August 2009 to March 2013. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Public Relations from Columbia College, along with undergraduate studies in History and Anthropology from Lincoln University and the University of Central Missouri.
