Peter Sears

Peter Sears is the Group President - Americas at Hyatt. Peter has held various Rooms Division positions at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from 1987 to 1998. Peter was the General Manager at Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf from 1998 to 1999, Park Hyatt San Francisco from 1999 to 2001, and Hyatt Regency Orange County from 2001 to 2004. Peter was also the General Manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino from 2004 to 2005. From 2006 to 2009, they were the SVP Field Operations at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Peter Sears received a BS in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Purdue University.

They work with Malaika Myers - Chief Human Resources Officer, Peter Fulton - Group President – EAME/Southwest Asia, and David Udell - Group President - Asia Pacific. Peter Sears reports to Mark S. Hoplamazian, President and Chief Executive Officer.
