Currently serving as Executive Chef at Playa Hotels & Resorts since October 2021, Rodrigo has previously held roles including Executive Sous Chef at Hotel Xcaret Arte and Sous Chef Ejecutivo at Hotel Xcaret México, both during their prestigious openings. With experience at renowned establishments such as Mundo Imperial and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Rodrigo has developed expertise in large-scale operations, menu development, and cost control, contributing to numerous award-winning dining experiences. Rodrigo's culinary journey began with a degree in Gastronomy from ITAHE - EUROMAR, and spans over 15 years, including foundational roles at Capella Hotel Group and The Ritz-Carlton.
