Andrew Owens

Andrew Owens is an experienced leader in the fields of agriculture and technology, currently serving as Director at HyBird since January 2024 and Chairman at BlckBx since September 2023, where Andrew focuses on AI-driven workplace enhancements. Owens also holds the position of Chairman at The Ethical Butcher, a B Corp dedicated to regenerative meat production across the UK. As Executive Chairman of Rare & Pasture and Owner of Fowlescombe Farm, Owens emphasizes sustainable and organic beef farming. Additionally, Owens founded and served as Chairman at Greenergy from January 1992 until August 2024. Owens holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, completed between 1981 and 1984, and attended Whitchurch High School from 1973 to 1981.
