Tasos Kokkalis has extensive experience in the aviation industry. Tasos began their career as a Consultant Aerodynamicist at Airbus in 2004, then moved to City University London as a Professor of Aviation in 2001. In 2008, they became a Customer at Symphony Services and Director Flight Physics at Voith Engineering Services GmbH. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as Chief Engineer - Flight Physics at P3 Voith Aerospace. In 2013, they became Senior Vice President - Global Head Engineering Services at Xchanging. In 2014, they began working at Hellenic Air Force Academy as a Professor in Aerodynamics and Deputy Dean. From 2012 to 2019, they were an EASA - CVE in Aerodynamics & Performance at STC21. Tasos currently holds the role of Head of Flight Science & Simulations at Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd.
Tasos Kokkalis obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerodynamics from the University of Glasgow in 1988. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 1983.
