Joni L. Gaudes

Joni L. Gaudes has a strong legal background with extensive experience in various roles. Joni L. currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Hybrid Apparel since November 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President and General Counsel at ASICS America Corporation from February 2017 to October 2020, where they led a legal team and played a crucial role in facilitating company growth. Before joining ASICS, they were the Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at FCTI, Inc. from September 2014 to January 2017. Joni has also worked as a legal consultant for U.S. and international companies, including Toyota Motor Sales and NBCUniversal-Digital, between November 2013 and August 2014. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Counsel and Consultant at Fuhu Inc. from November 2012 to October 2013. Earlier in their career, they served as the Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Futuredontics, Inc. from May 2006 to April 2012, where they handled legal and compliance management, contract drafting, and due diligence for M&A activities. Joni's work experience also includes roles as General Counsel at Smileworks Dental Management, LLC from 2006 to 2010, as well as various positions at Breidenbach, Huchting & Hamblet and Murchison & Cumming. With their comprehensive legal expertise and strong leadership skills, Joni has successfully managed complex legal matters and contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have been a part of.

Joni L. Gaudes holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Southwestern Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Law and Society from UC Santa Barbara. In addition, Joni has obtained various certifications including the OneTrust Certified Privacy Management Professional from OneTrust in 2020, the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2019, and a Notary Public certification from the California Secretary of State in 2006. Joni is also admitted to practice law in the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Courts in the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts.
