Alex Davidson

Alex Davidson is an experienced geology professional with a robust career spanning over 28 years in the mining industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Exploration at Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation since July 2022, Alex previously held the position of Functional Lead for Underground Geology at Nevada Gold Mines from December 2019 to June 2022. Prior experience includes various roles at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation from November 2009 to December 2019, where responsibilities ranged from Underground Geology Manager to Senior Geologist. Earlier in the career, Alex worked as a Project and Mine Geologist at Rio Tinto and as a Mine Geologist at Hecla Mining. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from Western Oregon University, earned between 1992 and 1995.
