Amarnath Rampratap

Amarnath Rampratap has extensive work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on cloud security, product management, and engineering. Amarnath is currently the Managing Director of India R&D at HYCU, Inc. Prior to this, they held various roles at NetApp, including Sr. Director of Cloud Security Products, Director and Global Head of SaaS Business & Cloud Security, Sr. Manager of Cloud Platforms and Hyper Converged Infrastructures, and Sr. Manager of Data Centre Solutions Engineering. At NetApp, they were responsible for building and leading teams, developing cloud-based solutions, and overseeing security and privacy. Before joining NetApp, Amarnath worked at Microsoft as a Messaging Architect and at CA Technologies as a Technology Consultant specializing in disaster recovery and business continuity. Amarnath also worked at cybernet software Systems as an Application Engineer and at SnowBall Systems as a System Administrator. Throughout their career, Amarnath has demonstrated expertise in cloud security, product management, engineering, and technical support.

Amarnath Rampratap completed their Bachelor's in Commerce from the University of Madras between 1997 and 2000. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Business Continuity Certified Expert from the Business Continuity Management Institute, BCM Institute in August 2007. Amarnath also holds a certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker from the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board/ANAB. Furthermore, Amarnath Rampratap is certified as a ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Implementer by BSI.
