Matthias Gorges has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Matthias started their career as a Development Engineer at the Wind Energy Research Group from September 2007 to December 2010. In January 2011, they joined HYDAC Cooling GmbH as a Development Engineer for Cooling Systems and worked in that role until April 2019. From May 2019 to April 2020, they served as the Dep. Head of Project Engineering Cooling Systems at the same company. Currently, Matthias holds the position of Head of Project Engineering Cooling Systems at HYDAC Cooling GmbH, starting from May 2020. Additionally, they also worked as a Dozent at HTW des Saarlandes from October 2013 to January 2016.
Matthias Gorges earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering & Process Technology from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes Saarbrücken in 2007. Matthias then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering & Management from the same institution in 2009.
