Vera Videnovich is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience as a farmer, freelance writer, artist, event organizer, and educator. At Videnovich Farms, Vera has preserved family heritage crops, maintained a sheep flock, and developed partnerships with notable Chicago restaurants for seasonal produce sales. As a freelance writer, Vera has contributed articles and blog posts on topics related to agriculture and culture. Additionally, Vera has organized craft markets and taught textiles at the Hyde Park Art Center. With a passion for horticulture and community engagement, Vera served as Consulting Horticulture Director for Envision Unlimited, where urban farming efforts involved teaching skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Vera holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has pursued various educational opportunities in horticulture and viticulture.
