Wee Hao Ng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Wee Hao started their career as a Battalion Signal Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces. Wee Hao then worked as an Analyst at One Tree Partners and QuestVC before transitioning to the finance sector. At Standard Chartered Bank, they were involved in Equity Research. Wee Hao later joined Citi, where they held roles in Cash Equities Trading and Global Markets Analysis. After that, they co-founded Medano Coffee, a company focused on providing high-quality coffee from bean to pod. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Hydra X, a company offering regulatory compliant infrastructure and financial services for digital capital markets.

Wee Hao Ng holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from the National University of Singapore. In 2012, they also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Peking University. Wee Hao completed additional certifications including the Oxford Algorithmic Trading Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and CMFAS M1A and M2A from IBFSG - The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore.
