Joe de Sousa

Joe de Sousa is an accomplished independent consultant and founder of Melhor Consulting UK, specializing in strategic advisory roles across various sectors, including private, public, academic, and charity. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at HydRegen and a council member for the EPSRC, Joe has a strong history of leadership in both scientific and strategic advisory capacities. Previous roles include Director of Science & Technology and Director of Medicines Evaluation at AstraZeneca, where Joe led significant research initiatives in pharmaceutical development. Joe's extensive educational background includes a DPhil in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a degree in Chemistry from the University of York.
