Bryony Elson

Bryony Elson currently serves as the Delivery Manager for Mechanical Engineering at Hydro Tasmania since May 2023. Prior to this role, Bryony held various positions at TasWater from January 2017 to May 2023, including Area Manager - Operations South, Senior Engineer Asset Strategy, and Project Manager. Bryony's experience also includes a role as Project Engineer at BHP from December 2011 to December 2014, where involvement in project management and execution for a $7.5 million pump station project at Crinum North underground mine was noted. Additionally, Bryony was a Queensland Division Committee Member for Engineers Australia from 2012 to 2014, promoting lifelong learning and ethical conduct in engineering. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Origin Energy from December 2009 to December 2011, managing maintenance outages and establishing compliance registers. Bryony holds a Master of Teaching - Secondary in Maths and Science and a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours, along with an MBA, all from the University of Tasmania, as well as a Diploma of Music in Piano.
