David Berechree

David Berechree has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. David started their career in 1987 as an IT Auditor at Price Waterhouse and later joined JP Morgan in 1992. In 1994, they joined KPMG as a Director, and later became an Associate Director from 2001 to 2003. In 2006, they served as a Board Member at YFU Australia. In 2009, David joined Headway Rebuilding Lives as a member of the Board of Management until 2016. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Director at DB Advisory Pty Ltd. In 2012, they became a member of Rotary International. Since 2013, David has been working as the Head of Internal Audit & Assurance at Hydro Tasmania.

David Berechree's education history begins in 1977 when they enrolled in Marist Regional College. David completed their schooling there in 1983 but did not obtain a degree. Following this, in 1984, they enrolled at the University of Tasmania and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Information Systems. David studied at the university until 1986. Subsequently, from 1988 to 1989, David attended Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand to earn the Chartered Accountant qualification. In January 1990, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
