Jackie Arends

Jackie Arends is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Hydro Tasmania since February 2021, following a role as Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Jackie has a strong academic background with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Adelaide, where contributions included serving as a Professional Practice & Systems Engineering Tutor from June 2017 to November 2020, with roles such as Lead Tutor and introducing various engineering courses. Additional experience includes positions as a Sustainability Research Assistant at Snowy Hydro Limited and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Mott MacDonald, as well as a Vacation Student role at Mott MacDonald.
