Jane Alpine

Jane Alpine is an experienced professional in community engagement and marine policy, currently serving as a Senior Community Engagement Advisor at Hydro Tasmania since September 2020. Prior to this role, Jane held various positions including Community Engagement Advisor and Assistant Director - Communications at Parks Australia, where leadership was provided for the Communications, Education and Awareness Program for Australian Marine Parks. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Advisor - Marine at Natural England, as well as roles in research and marine bioregional planning at IFREMER and the Department of the Environment and Energy. Jane holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Tasmania.
