Richard Depaoli

Richard DePaoli is a Project Manager at Hydro Tasmania since January 2019, leveraging extensive experience in project development and management. Previously, Richard served as a Mechanical Project/Plant Engineer at Nyrstar from November 2011 to December 2018, contributing to engineering projects aimed at enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and safety of operations at the Hobart zinc smelter facility. Richard's career began as a Vacation Student at Nyrstar during the summer of 2011-2012, where collaboration with maintenance teams and plant engineers focused on reliability and safety projects in the Casting department. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tasmania, completed in 2011.
