Dawn Clayton

Dawn Clayton is a seasoned product engineer with extensive experience in engineering roles across two major companies. At Hydro-Gear since December 2013, Dawn supports new product development and continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on detailed design and supplier collaboration. Prior experience at Caterpillar Inc. spanned from October 1988 to November 2013, including positions as a design engineer, senior service information engineer, manufacturing and systems engineer, and systems engineer. Responsibilities included developing service literature, contributing to engine installation and cooling design for large mining trucks, and creating manufacturing process specifications. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences from Salisbury State University.
