Drake Rogers has a strong background in manufacturing operations and engineering. Drake worked at Hydro-Gear as the Director of Manufacturing Operations and Plant Manager. In these roles, they managed activities such as coordinating manufacturing engineers, designing production systems, and creating assembly documentation. Prior to that, they held the position of Engineering Team Leader, where they conceptualized and implemented assembly processes. Drake also served as a Lean Program Leader and Manufacturing Engineer at Hydro-Gear. Before joining Hydro-Gear, Drake worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Dubois Wood Products, Inc., where they demonstrated expertise in drafting, blueprint reading, and error-proofing concepts. Additionally, they have experience as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps, where they performed tasks such as in-flight adjustments, inspections, and coordinating repair processes.

Drake Rogers attended Southridge High School from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Diploma with a field of study in College Preparation. Drake then enrolled at the University of Southern Indiana from 2006 to 2010, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued further education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with a field of study in Lean. Later, in 2017 to 2018, Drake Rogers attended Eastern Illinois University, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
