Arthur Kacprzak

Arthur Kacprzak, CPA, CA, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Arthur is currently serving as the Vice President and Treasurer at Hydro One since November 2023. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., where they held the position of Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for overseeing various departments, including Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations. Arthur also managed external relationships with investors, equity analysts, and rating agencies. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Treasury & Treasurer at the same company, where they were responsible for corporate and project financing, treasury operations, financial risk management, and capital planning. In their role, they managed global relationships with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies. Before joining Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., they worked at Samuel as the Corporate Accounting Manager | Director, Treasury, where they were responsible for financial statements, tax compliance, corporate accounting, and audit coordination. Arthur also led foreign exchange management, insurance, trade finance, and cash management. Additionally, they worked at Magna Entertainment Corp. as the Manager, Financial Systems, where their main responsibility was implementing the ERP system for newly acquired divisions. Arthur successfully completed the implementation within budget and on time. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Consultant/Auditor at Deloitte and Touche from 1997 to 2003.

Arthur Kacprzak, CPA, CA, CFA has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Toronto. Arthur also holds a CPA, CA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and a CFA designation from the CFA Institute. Additionally, they have completed a Global Professional Master of Laws in Law from the University of Toronto and Business Leadership for Finance Executives program from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
