Darren Desrosiers

Darren Desrosiers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Design Services at Hydro One since May 2007. In this role, Darren leads a team of over 400 personnel responsible for internal distribution design, covering new connections and system expansions. Throughout the career at Hydro One, Darren has held various leadership positions, including Sr. Manager of Distribution Sustainment Planning, overseeing distribution system assets valued over a billion dollars, and Senior Manager of Distribution Technical Services, where responsibilities included creating distribution standards and providing field support. Previous experience includes a role as Product Manager at Hubbell Power Systems, coupled with a solid educational foundation in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
