Dave Hesch

Dave Hesch is an experienced Protection, Control, and Metering Design Engineer at Hydro One since June 2010, specializing in the design of systems for high and medium voltage infrastructures. Responsibilities include the development of protection, tele-protection, control, and metering systems, accompanied by field design drawings and computer simulations using CAPE. Previously, Dave contributed to the creation of strategic plans for Protection and Automation and managed several telecommunications projects, enhancing Hydro One's transmission systems. Prior experience includes roles in Protection Control and Telecom Solutions, with comprehensive training across various work environments. Dave Hesch holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, both obtained from Queen's University.
