Gabriel Chan

Gabriel Chan CISSP has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and risk management. Gabriel is currently serving as the Director - Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Hydro One since February 2023. Prior to this, Gabriel held the position of Director, Operational Resilience at CIBC from January 2021 to February 2023.

Gabriel possesses significant experience at Rogers Communications from 2008 to 2020, where they held various roles. In their most recent role as Senior Manager, Cyber Security Risk Management, Gabriel was responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cyber risk framework. Gabriel also managed the delivery of a cloud security framework integrated with devops and Digital delivery teams. Before this, Gabriel served as Senior Advisor, Information Security, where they led efforts to develop a 3-year strategy roadmap for data loss prevention and managed the implementation of mobile device management to the entire enterprise.
