Samantha Pruden

Samantha Pruden has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Samantha started their career at Ideal Supply Company Ltd. in 2011, working as an Administrative Assistant until 2017. Samantha then joined Hydro One as an Administrative Assistant for the Training and Development Department from April 2017 to September 2017. Samantha also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the UOIT Alumni Office from January 2019 to April 2019. In 2018, they worked as a Business Co-op Student at Ontario Power Generation, where they developed training courses and troubleshooted eLearning issues. Samantha co-founded the Pruden and Sholdice Hockey School in 2015 and served as the Head of Player Development. Their most recent role at Hydro One is as a Supervisor in the HR Service Centre, starting in October 2020 and transitioning to a Team Lead position in April 2021. Additionally, Samantha worked as a Mental Health Ambassador at the Student Mental Health Services from December 2016 to April 2018, where they promoted mental health services and performed administrative tasks. Throughout their career, Samantha has gained experience in various administrative roles with a focus on HR, training, and mental health advocacy.

Samantha Pruden obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from Ontario Tech University from 2015 to 2019. Samantha also holds certifications in Smart Serve (2018), Mental Health First Aid (August 2017), Hockey Trainer (September 2016), and First Aid and Level C CPR with AED.
