Steven Mantifel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steven began their career as a Jr. Utility Analyst at Accenture from April 2006 to March 2009. Steven then worked as a Project Analyst at Forrest Green in 2010 before joining the United Nations University as a Research Intern from May 2011 to August 2011. Steven served as a Project Researcher at the University of Toronto from 2010 to December 2012. Steven then worked as a Policy Advisor at the Ontario Minister of Research and Innovation from March 2013 to May 2014.
Steven's most recent work experience is with Hydro One, where they held multiple positions. Steven started as an Advisor, External Relations from May 2014 to January 2016 and then became a Senior Advisor, External Relations from January 2016 to April 2017. From April 2017 to March 2018, they managed the design and implementation of Hydro One's Get Local program as a Manager, Get Local. Steven later served as a Manager, Special Projects from March 2018 to March 2020 and as a Senior Manager, Community Relations from March 2020 to January 2022. Steven then held the position of Director, Government Relations from December 2021 to June 2022 before becoming the Director, Office of the Chief Corporate Affairs and Customer Care Officer from June 2022 to June 2023. Currently, Steven is working as the Director, Office of the President and CEO at Hydro One starting from May 2023 till date.
Steven Mantifel earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A Honours) in Political Science from York University in 2010. Steven then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at the University of Toronto from 2010 to 2012. In 2009, they also studied European Political Economy at Ulm University.
