Walter Heneghan

Walter Heneghan has extensive experience in the aviation safety and helicopter services industry, currently serving as the Director of Helicopter Services at Hydro One. Previously, Walter held the position of SMS Development Specialist at CHC Helicopter in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, and served as VP of Health, Safety & Environmental Protection at Summit Air Group. Additional roles include VP of Safety & Quality and Line Pilot/EMS Safety Manager at Canadian Helicopters, an HNZ Company, as well as Training Pilot at STARS Air Ambulance. Walter is pursuing an MSc in Human Factors and Safety Systems at Lund University and holds a Staff School Diploma from Canadian Forces Staff School, where achievement ranked in the top 5% for leadership.
