Shawn Carr serves as the Director of Energy Transition, Customer Strategy & Innovation at Hydro Ottawa, a position held since February 2018, following roles as Manager of Customer Experience and Manager of the Conservation and Demand Management Division. With extensive experience in the building services sector, Shawn held the role of Senior Manager at Ferguslea Properties Ltd., overseeing capital project management and sustainability initiatives. Additional leadership experience includes Vice President on the BOMA Ottawa Board of Directors and previous positions as Energy Manager at Hydro Ottawa Limited and Managing Principal at Halsall Associates. As a Sustainability Consultant at Loop Initiatives, Shawn advised organizations on sustainable practices and strategies. Shawn's career began in education at Carson Dunlop and Associates and is supported by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Toronto.
