Frederic st-Hilaire

Frederic St-Hilaire is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical engineering and cyber security, currently serving as a Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer at Hydro-Québec since January 2009. With expertise in NERC-CIP standards compliance and operational technology cyber security, Frederic is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert for registered functions and has played a significant role in planning and controlling GridEx events. Prior to this, Frederic held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at Hydro-Québec, leading complex electricity distribution automation projects and ensuring power infrastructure certification. Frederic's experience also includes roles as an electrical engineering intern at Hydro-Québec and IBM, and a research and development laboratory technician at Université du Québec. Frederic holds a Master's Degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, backed by a strong foundation in electronics technology and natural sciences.
