Marc-Olivier Garant

Marc-Olivier Garant is a professional civil engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering and project management. Currently serving as an Ingénieur en génie civil at Hydro-Québec since July 2021, Marc-Olivier previously worked at EMS Ingénierie as an Ingénieur en structure and Directeur du bureau de Laval from April 2013 to July 2021. Prior to that, roles included Concepteur en structure at AECOM and various engineering positions at Kiewit, where responsibilities ranged from on-site engineering to contract administration. Marc-Olivier's project involvement includes significant contributions to major infrastructure projects, such as those for IUCPQ, Hydro-Québec, and the Ministère des Transports du Québec. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Université de Sherbrooke, complemented by studies at EPFL.
