Philippe Bourbeau-Allard, CPI, currently serves as a CPI specializing in energy balance optimization and reliability at Hydro-Québec since October 2022. In addition to this role, Philippe is a Board Member and Chairman of the Board at Poly-Monde, actively contributing to various initiatives including coordination for events in 2020 and 2019 in Island, Norway, and Japan, respectively. It was established by the Government of Quebec in 1944 from the expropriation of private firms. Hydro-Québec generates, transports and distributes electricity. It essentially exploits renewable energies, more particularly hydroelectricity. It also does research in energy-related fields and is actively interested in energy efficiency. In addition, it develops the technologies resulting from its research.
