Dr. Max Distel

Dr. Max Distel's work experience includes roles as a Product Owner at Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies starting in January 2023, a Betriebsassistent at Clariant from December 2021 to November 2022, and a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at Helmholtz-Institut Erlangen-Nürnberg für Erneuerbare Energien from April 2020 to November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Promotion) at Friedrich-Alexander Universität from January 2017 to March 2020 and as a Gastwissenschaftler at the University of Alberta in 2018 and the University of Cambridge from October 2015 to March 2016.

Dr. Max completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. Following this, Dr. Distel continued their education at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry between 2014 and 2016. In 2017, they embarked on their doctoral studies at the same institution, specializing in Organic Chemistry. Dr. Distel successfully completed their doctoral degree, obtaining a Dr. rer. nat., in 2019.
