Stephan Marcus Eger has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Stephan Marcus is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies since April 2023. Prior to this, from March 2020 to March 2023, they served as a FinTech Startup Co-Founder Investor, Business Angel, and IPO Consultant.

In this role, they represented DT as a member of the supervisory board of DT venture capital vehicle T-Ventures and multiple other boards and panels. Stephan made significant contributions, including reducing the IR team size and budget while improving service quality. Stephan Marcus also introduced new agile ways of working, digitized the IR function, and achieved top rankings in investor surveys, with DT being ranked as the No. 1 company for Investor Relations in Europe and Germany in 2014 and 2015.
Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Stephan worked at Lehman Brothers as a Senior Key Account Manager for European Equity Sales from October 2005 to March 2007. Stephan Marcus successfully led the Lehman Brothers equity business into the Top 5 among the biggest German institutional asset managers.
Earlier in their career, Stephan held roles at Allianz Global Investors as a Senior Research Analyst and Fund Manager, Deputy Head of European Research (2001-2005), Deutsche Asset Management as a Senior Buyside Analyst and European Portfolio Manager (1997-2000), and Ford Motor de Venezuela as a Treasury Specialist (1994-1995).
Stephan Marcus Eger completed their Master's degree in Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt, which they attended from 1991 to 1997. In 2006, they pursued a program in Leading Change from Harvard Business School Executive Education. Additionally, they undertook the Advanced Management Programme in Business Administration & Management from IESE Business School during the year 2013 to 2014.
