Nicole Swartz has over 10 years of experience in contracts administration, finance, and legal roles. In 2021, they began working as the Manager of Contracts Administration for HII Unmanned Systems. From 2019-2021, they were the Finance & Contract Administrator for Spatial Integrated Systems, Inc. From 2017-2019, they were the Contract Administrator for SimIS Inc., where they developed cost analysis, prepared budgetary support documentation, and coordinated the pre-award bid and proposal process. From 2012-2017, they were the Senior Grant & Contract Administrator for Old Dominion University Research Foundation, where they managed all administrative aspects of the pre-award bid and proposal process. In 2012, they were a Paralegal (Contractor) for Capitol One, where they were responsible for reviewing and tracking legal documents. From 2011-2012, they were the Contract Administrator for SRI International, where they analyzed commercial and government contracts and processed and tracked procurement shipping invoices. From 2010-2011, they were the Realty Specialist and Legal Assistant for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). From 2006-2005, they were the Legal Administrator for Titan America, where they established and updated contracts and commercial real estate information systems. Finally, from 2001-2005, they were the Contract Administrator for RCDolner LLC, where they supervised daily workflow of contracts, subcontracts, owner contracts, and change orders.

Nicole Swartz began their education in 1994 at South University, where they earned an Associate's degree in Paralegalism. Nicole then attended Centenary University from 2001-2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2018, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Business/Management at Brenau University. Additionally, in November 2015, Nicole obtained a Certified Research Administrator certification from the Research Administrators Certification Council.
