Michael (Misha) Shirman

Misha Shirman has had an extensive career in technology, starting in 2000 with Vsource as CTO. In 2001, they co-founded transmodus, DBA linked2pay, a SaaS Payment Processing Platform. In 2011, they took on a fractional CTO role at PlayitFwd, a film distribution platform, and in 2012 they became CTO of Hipswap, a consumer marketplace and affiliate marketing company. In 2013, they took on two interim CTO roles at EasyPay Finance, a fintech and consumer lending company, and Search Optics, a martech company. From 2014 to 2018, they were CTO of Count Loyalty, a fintech, loyalty, POS, payments, and business lending company. Finally, in 2018 they became CTO of Hydrostasis, a hydration monitoring company.

Misha Shirman obtained a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, specializing in Multiprocessor systems. Michael (Misha) also obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, specializing in Telecom Digital Switching Systems. In 2013, Misha Shirman attended Stanford University to study Technology Entrepreneurship. In 2021, they obtained a certification in How to Manage a Remote Team from GitLab. In 2018, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
