Uta Gasanov

Uta Gasanov is an experienced professional in the field of technical applications and sales within the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Uta currently serves as the Technical Applications Manager for ANZ at Hygiena since November 2022. Prior to this role, Uta held several positions, including National Sales Manager at Eurofins Technologies, Sales Application Specialist at Merck Australia, and Key Account Manager at AMSL. Uta's career began as a Senior Biochemist-Microbiology at 3M Australia and a Senior Scientist at Tecra Diagnostics. Uta holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of Newcastle, obtained between 2000 and 2005, and has foundational education from Leipzig University from 1987 to 1990.
