Rachel Bartholomew has a wealth of experience in the fields of healthcare, entrepreneurship, and product management. In 2019, they founded Hyivy Health, a company that creates the first intelligent and holistic pelvic rehabilitation device for women experiencing symptoms from pelvic cancers and diseases. In 2021, they founded Femtech Canada and became the Kitchener-Waterloo Ambassador for Pink Pearl Canada. Rachel also served as Chapter Lead for Hacking Health Waterloo Region in 2019 and Lecturer for the BE606 Course in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing Cryptoworks 21 Program in 2014. In 2018, they were the Program Coordinator - LaunchPad Waterloo for the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. Rachel also founded The Mod Market Inc in 2013 and served as Manager of Innovation for Meridian Credit Union and Business Development Manager for Advanced Chemical Technologies in 2016. Rachel has also been a Freelance Consultant since 2015.
Rachel Bartholomew has a diverse educational background. Rachel began their studies in 2004 at Elmira District Secondary School, where they earned their High School Diploma with a focus in Business. Rachel continued their education at York University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce - BCom with Honors in Management in 2013. Following this, Rachel earned their Master's Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo in 2014. Additionally, Rachel has several certifications, including Fundamentals of Management Consulting from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) obtained in 2013, Technical Sales from the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre obtained in 2013, and Project Management Professional - Educational Requirements from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2012.
