J. Evan Smith

J. Evan Smith has an extensive background in various fields, including advising, research and development, consulting, and teaching in academia. Smith has worked at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Duke University School of Medicine, and North Carolina State University. With a strong focus on rethinking mental health care, Smith currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at Hyka and is the Cofounder & CTO of a company dedicated to this cause. Additionally, at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Smith held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer for Active Learning, where they developed and deployed hands-on curriculum and offered technical consultation. Smith's work has been recognized with the Star Prize for Excellence in Advising.
